Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist for our Dallas, Texas location. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory records, which is fundamental to our logistics and supply chain operations. Your duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, implementing inventory control procedures, and assisting with physical inventories. You will work closely with warehouse staff and management to ensure efficient stock management and minimize losses. A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy of inventory records.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels and identify items for replenishment or potential obsolescence.
  • Process inventory adjustments and ensure proper documentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized stockroom, ensuring proper storage and handling of goods.
  • Collaborate with receiving, shipping, and operations teams to ensure smooth inventory flow.
  • Utilize inventory management software to track and report on inventory status.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and ensure proper use of PPE.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and logistics efficiency.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar inventory management role.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 pounds.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE guidelines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
