Our Huntsville, Alabama facility is looking for a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our advanced logistics team. This role requires technical proficiency and a deep understanding of warehouse operations, focusing on maintaining and troubleshooting warehouse equipment and systems. You will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing and repairing machinery, and ensuring the optimal performance of our automated systems. This position is critical for minimizing downtime and maximizing operational efficiency within our logistics hub. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or electrical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety. You must strictly adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE, and ensure all maintenance activities are conducted safely. While the primary focus is on equipment, some lifting and manual tasks may be required. We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual who can contribute to the reliability and continuous improvement of our warehouse operations. Responsibilities include: Performing routine preventative maintenance on warehouse machinery and equipment. Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues. Identifying potential equipment failures and implementing corrective actions. Assisting in the installation and setup of new equipment. Following all safety guidelines and company procedures for maintenance work. Contributing to overall warehouse productivity and operational uptime.
