We are seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our team of customs officers. As a customs officer, you will play a critical role in protecting the country's borders and ensuring the free flow of legitimate trade.

• The primary responsibility of this position is to enforce laws and regulations related to customs, immigration, and agriculture.


• You will be required to conduct inspections of individuals and conveyances to determine their admissibility into the country.


• In addition, you will need to identify and prevent illicit activity such as smuggling goods or people across borders.

• A minimum of 1 year full-time work experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level that includes performing physical inspections, utilizing observational techniques, evaluating facts, reviewing documentation while applying Federal State or local laws and regulations making determinations in compliance with laws that may lead arrests fines penalties based findings OR for GS-7 grade level bachelor degree Superior Academic Achievement class standing GPA honor society membership one full-year graduate-level education demonstrating knowledge skills abilities doing work OR combination specialized work experience graduate-level education from accredited college university calculated resume transcripts submitted application}
