Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Customs and Border Protection Officer. As a CBPO, you will play a vital part in safeguarding our nation's borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing economic prosperity.

• You will be responsible for enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.


• Facilitating the flow of legitimate trade and travel is another key aspect of this role.


• Your duties may also include conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances, determining admissibility for entry into the United States, preventing illegal entry and smuggling contraband goods or drugs.

The ideal candidate will possess one or more of the following qualifications: GS-5 grade level requires 3 years general work experience that demonstrates ability to interact with people; OR bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; OR combination of education & experience as calculated by resume/transcripts submitted with application. For GS-7 grade level qualification includes performing physical inspections utilizing observational techniques applying Federal/state/local laws/regs making determinations based on findings; alternatively substitute academic achievement/or graduate-level education fulfilling knowledge/skill requirements demonstrated through submitted materials.",
