Night Youth Support Worker

As a Night Support Worker, you will be part of our Lancashire Young People Supported Accommodation services, assisting 18 young individuals (aged 16-21) at two locations: Parker House and The Bridge in Chorley. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing security, peace of mind, and companionship to young people during out-of-office hours.
• Ensuring the physical, social, and emotional support of the young residents.
• Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people, in line with our commitment to their well-being.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Empathy and compassion to support young people during challenging nighttime hours.
• Basic computer skills for maintaining accurate records.
• The ability to follow procedures for reporting missing persons.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with out-of-hours support and respond to inquiries professionally.
• A positive role model attitude for both colleagues and residents.
