Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid role for an Operations Manager based in Burlington, ON, with some remote work flexibility. The Operations Manager will oversee daily operations, ensuring that processes are efficient and meet quality standards. Responsibilities include optimizing workflows, managing supplier relationships, coordinating with teams to meet deadlines, monitoring inventory and logistics, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Additionally, the role involves identifying areas for process improvement, supporting business development initiatives, and fostering collaboration across departments.
Qualifications
Strong organizational and project management skills to oversee operational workflows and manage timelines effectively.
Proficiency in team coordination, leadership, and communication to foster collaboration and maintain performance standards.
Knowledge of inventory management, logistics, and supply chain processes related to food distribution.
Understanding of food safety, hygiene regulations, and quality assurance practices in the food industry.
Analytical and problem-solving skills to improve operational efficiency and address challenges.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; recent graduates welcome.
Experience in the food industry or similar operational environments is advantageous.
Proficiency in relevant tools and software for managing operations and data analysis.
