We are seeking an experienced ERPNext consultant to lead a full implementation engagement covering business process discovery, gap analysis, customization planning, system setup, and end-user training.
## Scope of Work
**Phase 1 – Business Process Discovery**
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and process mapping sessions across core departments (Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Manufacturing/Operations, HR — as applicable)
- Document current-state (as-is) workflows and data flows
- Identify pain points, bottlenecks, and manual workarounds in existing processes
**Phase 2 – Gap Analysis & Customization Planning**
- Map current processes against ERPNext's out-of-the-box functionality
- Produce a detailed gap analysis report highlighting fits, gaps, and recommended resolution paths (configuration, customization, or process change)
- Define a customization backlog with effort estimates, priorities, and dependencies
- Recommend module selection and integration strategy for any third-party tools
**Phase 3 – System Setup & Configuration**
- Set up the ERPNext instance (cloud or self-hosted, per our infrastructure requirements)
- Configure modules, workflows, roles/permissions, print formats, and naming conventions
- Build or oversee custom doctypes, scripts, and reports identified in Phase 2
- Develop and execute a data migration plan from our current systems
- Perform UAT coordination and issue resolution
**Phase 4 – Training & Handover**
- Deliver role-based training sessions for end users and administrators
- Produce written documentation / SOPs tailored to our configured system
- Provide post-go-live hypercare support (duration negotiable)
## Requirements
- 3+ successful ERPNext implementations end-to-end (please share references or case studies)
- Strong understanding of ERPNext's Frappe framework, including custom app development
- Demonstrated experience in business process analysis and ERP change management
- Excellent communication skills — able to translate business needs into technical specs and vice versa
- Familiarity with data migration from legacy systems or spreadsheets
## Nice to Have
- ERPNext certification
- Experience in our industry *(specify your industry here)*
- Familiarity with integrations (e-commerce platforms, payment gateways, shipping APIs, BI tools)
## Engagement Details
- **Type:** Contract / Fixed-price or hourly (open to proposals)
- **Duration:** Estimated 4-8 weeks depending on scope
- **Location:** Remote (overlap with Gulf Time business hours preferred)
