This role offers a unique opportunity to join a highly trained team of professionals who are dedicated to protecting America's interests and securing our nation. As a Customs and Border Protection Officer, you will be part of the Department of Homeland Security workforce.

• This position involves enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations, as well as facilitating the flow of legitimate trade and travel.
• You will conduct inspections of individuals and conveyances to determine their admissibility for entry into the United States.

Note: Successful completion of training is required for this position.
A 52-week performance period must be completed at each grade level before being eligible for promotion to the next higher grade without reapplying.
Candidates may qualify at the GS-9 or GS-12 levels based on prior law enforcement experience
