Then we have the position for you!/ppWe are currently seeking a full time, effective and efficient Sales Representative in the Chicagoland area. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of obtaining new accounts and increasing sales. This is a field based, outside sales position./ppJob Responsibilities to Include:/pulliCold call prospective new customers and businesses to grow customer base in Illinois stretching between the Rockford - Chicago-OHare corridor and surrounding areas./liliBuild customer base from the ground up, the selected candidate will be given a wide range of territory in which to recruit and maintain a solid customer base/liliAnalyze prior market trends to establish current and future customer order requirements/liliMaintain and update customers on changing demands, price increases, discontinuation of product and customer usage/liliWork closely with Sales Manager to move product in a timely manner/liliWork with Customer Service and Lubes Supervisor to ensure correct pricing and billing/li/ulpRequirements/ppThe Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following Requirements:/pulli2+ years of cold calling sales experience/liliInterpersonal skills required to work effectively with management, office personnel, drivers, and customers/liliEffective time management and reporting skills/liliComputer literacy to include the Microsoft suite of products/liliMust possess excellent oral and written communications skills to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization along with customers/liliAbility to formulate and implement sound plans to achieve desired outcomes/liliSelf-starter with the ability to multitask but also work in teams as necessary/liliMust work best under pressure including the ability to learn new things quickly/liliMust be 21 years of age or older with a valid Drivers License/li/ulpThe Preferred Candidate will Possess the Following:/pulli3-5 years relevant experience/liliPrior oil and lubes sales experience/liliStrong negotiation skills/li/ulpAdditional Information:/pulliOnly those candidates with a proven track record of cold calling will be considered./liliThis position is not your typical sales position, you will be responsible for building the customer base and will not be provided leads./liliThis position requires an aggressive approach to obtaining new customers while maintaining a professional and respectful attitude./li/ul/div
