Purpose of Position: The selected candidate will play a crucial role in establishing, maintaining, and ensuring the reliable operation of network infrastructures and server systems across all imi companies. You will also deliver company-wide support and management for essential networking components and server applications. What You'll Do: Design, configure, and manage local area (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless networks. Handle and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including routers, firewalls, load balancers, and managed switches. Install, configure, and oversee both virtual and physical server operating systems (primarily Windows Server). Administer essential network services like DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and VPN. Monitor system performance and network traffic to proactively identify and resolve issues. Conduct routine system backups, engage in disaster recovery planning, and implement robust security measures. Assist in planning and executing significant upgrades and modifications to the core networking and server environment. Provide advanced-level support and guidance to IT personnel on intricate network and server issues. Document network architecture, configurations, and procedures thoroughly. Collaborate with the security team to enforce corporate security policies, including identity and access management (IAM) protocols. Show a commitment to safety by communicating, improving, and adhering to safety policies in all work environments. Perform all other duties as assigned. What You'll Need: A minimum of three (3) years of experience in network administration or system administration. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications are a plus. Strong expertise in TCP/IP networking, routing protocols, and network security principles. Demonstrated experience with virtualization technologies (such as VMware). Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. A passion for continuous learning and staying updated on new IT-related skills through training, conferences, and self-study.
