Sales Assistant
We are looking for a motivated and career minded individual to join my Franchise as a Sales Assistant. As a Sales Assistant you will learn all aspects of running a Snap-on business and help with day-to-day operations of the Snap-on franchise - from organizing, stocking shelves, to selling and repairing tools. This Sales Assistant position is a gateway opportunity to Franchisee ownership. Our goal is for you to become a Snap-on Franchisee, with your own sales assistant. Key tasks include: assisting in achieving sales goals to increase revenue leveraging product offerings, and executing special project sales of new product and equipment items; assisting in management of store operation to meet sales and profit targets; assisting in maintaining customer relationships and accountability for sales and collections; accountability for franchise assets in the form of cash and inventory; assisting in operation of store in compliance with the Snap-on program; rotating and stocking inventory, and repairing broken tools, as needed; watching for loss prevention issues and notifying management of any unusual activities; maintaining mobile store in pristine condition, as it serves as a showcase for the Snap-on franchise; interacting with other Franchisee's, and Snap-on managers, to ensure coordination of programs and policies, and implement best practices; minimum 40 hours per week. Qualifications include: valid driver's license. Ability to drive 16-20' vehicle. Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently (below shoulder height), and more than 50 pounds occasionally (using available lifting device). Computer proficiency. Ability to complete/attend Snap-on training programs. The following are a plus, but not required: sales experience, product knowledge, business operations. The following individual characteristics and competencies are particularly important: high energy level and highly motivated, results driven
set and achieve goals, strong communication skillsrelationship building, verbal/written, & listening, persuasive and influential, customer focused, strong core values. Education: High School Diploma or GED. Candidate must successfully complete a background investigation prior to receiving any final offer of employment.
