Night Youth Support Worker

As a Night Support Worker, you will be part of our Lancashire Young People Supported Accommodation services, assisting 18 young people (aged 16-21) across two locations: Parker House and The Bridge in Chorley. Your role will include:

• Providing security, peace of mind, and companionship to young people during out-of-office hours.
• Ensuring the physical, social, and emotional support of the young residents.
• Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people, aligning with our commitment to their well-being.

We are looking for someone who can empathize and connect with young people during challenging night hours. The ideal candidate will possess:

• Empathy and compassion to support young people during the night.
• Basic computer skills for accurate record-keeping.
• The ability to follow procedures for reporting missing persons.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with out-of-hours support.
• Professionalism in answering phone calls and responding to inquiries.
• A positive role model for both colleagues and residents.
