Role ResponsibilitiesAs a Night Support Worker, you will be part of our Lancashire Young People Supported Accommodation services, assisting 18 young people (aged 16-21) across two locations: Parker House and The Bridge in Chorley. Your role will include:
- Providing security, peace of mind, and companionship to young people during out-of-office hours.
- Ensuring the physical, social, and emotional support of the young residents.
- Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people, aligning with our commitment to their well-being.
We are looking for someone who can empathize and connect with young people during challenging night hours. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Empathy and compassion to support young people during the night.
- Basic computer skills for accurate record-keeping.
- The ability to follow procedures for reporting missing persons.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with out-of-hours support.
- Professionalism in answering phone calls and responding to inquiries.
- A positive role model for both colleagues and residents.
