As a Night Support Worker , you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for young people, ensuring they feel safe and supported during the night. Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Night Support Worker, you will be part of our Lancashire Young People Supported Accommodation services, assisting 18 young individuals (aged 16-21) at two locations: Parker House and The Bridge in Chorley. Your primary focus will be to provide security, companionship, and peace of mind during the night hours.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people, and we expect all staff to share this commitment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Staying awake throughout your shift to ensure the safety and welfare of each young person.
  • Offering empathy and compassion during challenging night-time situations.
  • Maintaining accurate records using a computer.
  • Following the Missing Persons procedure when necessary.
  • Communicating effectively with out-of-office support, including The On Call team.
  • Answering phone calls professionally and responding to inquiries.
  • Serving as a positive role model for both colleagues and residents.
