As a Cardiac Cath Lab RN, you will play a vital role in caring for patients before, during, and after angiography, interventional, and angiographic cardiac catheterization procedures. Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing pre-procedure assessments and administering pre-medications
• Documenting the catheterization process and providing post-cath care
• Educating patients about their procedures and recovery
• Assisting in stress echocardiograms, treadmill exams, and other diagnostic tests
• Scrubbing in for procedures and supporting the cardiac catheterization team
• Operating and managing cardiac equipment and supplies
• Inserting PICC lines and serving as a vascular access expert
• Providing sedation monitoring and ensuring patient safety

Requirements for this role include:

• Cath Lab RN experience (required)
• 1+ years of experience in Electrophysiology (required)
• Active Michigan RN License
• Active American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
• Interventional Radiology experience (preferred)
• Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation knowledge (preferred)
• Experience with intraaortic balloon pump operation (preferred)
• Epic EMR experience (preferred)
• Travel work experience (preferred)
