Required Skills: As a Senior Lead Engineer - Machine Learning, you will: Set the team's objectives and technical direction to boost your organization’s overall efficiency. Communicate complex features and systems with clarity and precision. Stay updated on industry trends to evaluate and adopt new technologies. Collaborate with organizational leaders to enhance performance at both team and organizational levels. Identify and advocate for new opportunities within the organization, influencing key stakeholders to prioritize initiatives. Drive the long-term technical vision for extensive cross-company projects. Collect and analyze requirements to create an effective feature roadmap. Focus on resolving challenges related to performance and scalability while minimizing technical debt. Minimum Qualifications: To be eligible, candidates must have: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. At least 12 years of programming experience in a relevant language, or 8+ years with a PhD. Demonstrated ability to create a multi-year roadmap aligning short-term projects with a long-term vision. Experience leading large, cross-functional engineering initiatives. Ability to leverage data and analytics to resolve technical challenges and present comprehensive solutions. Strong communication and collaborative skills to drive effective outcomes across functions. Experience mentoring and influencing executive stakeholders across various organizations. Preferred Qualifications: Ideal candidates will have: A Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related field. Familiarity with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn. Knowledge of Natural Language Processing techniques such as text preprocessing and sentiment analysis. Understanding of information retrieval concepts including indexing, querying, and ranking. Experience with algorithms and data structures, especially in graph theory and optimization techniques. Public Compensation: $219,000/year to $301,000/year plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Industry:
