About the Role:
The Customs Officer is a vital position that plays a significant role in protecting national security and facilitating international trade. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for enforcing customs regulations and laws, ensuring the integrity of imported goods, and safeguarding against illicit activities.
Responsibilities:
- Enforcement of Customs Laws : Enforce customs laws and regulations to prevent smuggling, fraud, and other illicit activities.
- Cargo Inspection : Conduct thorough inspections of cargo shipments to ensure compliance with customs regulations.
- Trade Facilitation : Facilitate legitimate trade by providing guidance on customs procedures and resolving any issues or discrepancies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You should have strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Additionally,
someone who has prior law enforcement experience would be an asset but not necessary.
A combination of work experience as well as relevant education may also suffice.”),
