Are you ready to join the programmatic evolution? The Learning Experience Designer (LXD) plays a critical role in enabling commercial performance at Index Exchange. This role is responsible for designing scalable, blended learning experiences that drive behavior change, improve capability, and directly support business outcomes across Sales, Services, and other customer-facing teams.
While the primary focus of this role is on the commercial side of the business, the LXD is also a core member of the broader Learning & Development team and contributes to learning initiatives that support the wider organization. This includes partnering with subject matter experts, leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex product knowledge, business priorities, and workflows into high‑impact learning experiences. The role sits at the intersection of learning science, enablement, and performance measurement, with a strong focus on analysis, accountability, and outcomes.
This role is central to Index Exchange's shift toward more intentional, data‑informed, and performance‑focused learning. The Learning Experience Designer will help ensure that commercial learning is not only engaging, but accountable, measurable, and clearly connected to how the business grows and succeeds.
Here's what you'll be doing:  Design & Delivery
  • Design and build innovative, blended learning experiences (self‑serve, cohort‑based, facilitator‑led, and performance support) that are scalable, inclusive, and aligned to business priorities.
  • Translate subject matter expertise in product, sales skills, and commercial workflows into learning experiences that drive engagement, behavior change, and measurable business impact.
  • Lead end‑to‑end learning design for major commercial enablement initiatives, from needs analysis through launch, reinforcement, and evaluation.
  • Apply creativity, problem‑solving, and human‑centered design methods to develop practical, business‑relevant learning solutions.
  • Prototype, test, and iterate learning experiences based on user feedback, stakeholder input, and performance data.
  • Deliver experiences through in-person and virtual instructor-led facilitation as a primary facilitator and co-facilitator to subject matter experts.

  • Strategy & Analysis
  • Partner with commercial stakeholders to identify capability gaps and performance needs using qualitative and quantitative inputs.
  • Design learning approaches that align with Index Exchange's culture, go‑to‑market motion, and ways of working.
  • Contribute to broader L&D strategy by helping define learning standards, design principles, and scalable approaches for commercial learning.

  • Tools, Technology & Measurement
  • Design and build digital learning experiences using authoring tools such as Articulate Rise, Storyline and Microsoft suite, like PowerPoint.
  • Leverage sales enablement tools (Seismic) and learning management system (Dayforce Learn) to create cohesive learning journeys, surface insights on content usage, and support ongoing reinforcement.
  • Gather, analyze, and act on learning metrics, participant feedback, and reporting to continuously improve learning quality and efficiency.
  • Support measurement strategies that go beyond completion, connecting learning activity to behavior change and performance outcomes where possible.

  • Collaboration & Influence
  • Work closely with senior leaders, subject matter experts, and cross‑functional partners to co‑create learning solutions and build shared ownership for capability development.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently with stakeholders at all levels, building credibility as a learning and performance partner.
  • Stay current on trends and research in learning science, sales enablement, and learning technology, applying relevant insights to support Index Exchange's growth strategy.

  • Here's what you need:
  • 5+ years of experience designing and delivering Learning & Development solutions, from analysis through launch and evaluation.
  • Deep experience designing digital, virtual, and blended learning experiences using modern LMS and authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Rise, Storyline, Microsoft Suite; experience with video tools is an asset).
  • Strong experience designing product, sales, and skills‑based learning for commercial or customer‑facing teams, preferably in an ad tech or SaaS environment.
  • Experience working with learning, enablement, and business systems such as LMS platforms, sales enablement tools, and CRMs (e.g., Dayforce Learn, Seismic, Salesforce or similar).
  • Ability to design learning that integrates seamlessly into commercial workflows rather than living outside of them.
  • Strong grounding in adult learning principles, learning science, and blended learning design.
  • Experience designing for global, diverse audiences, with a demonstrated ability to integrate inclusion into learning experiences.
  • Familiarity with best practices in learning measurement, evaluation frameworks, reinforcement, and sustainment.
  • Strong understanding of commercial business drivers and the ability to translate business goals into learning strategies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across levels and functions.
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity, prioritizing effectively, and balancing strategic thinking with hands‑on execution.

  • The base salary range for this role is $90,000 to $120,000. The total compensation package may vary depending on non-discriminatory factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
