Major Duties

Our Nuclear Services team lives at the intersection of advanced engineering, real world problem solving, and some of the most complex environments in industry. We don't just design tooling and hand it off—we follow it through its entire lifecycle, from early development to on site execution inside operating nuclear facilities, and then back again to make it better the next time around.

What makes this team unique is the depth of ownership we have over our work. Team members are involved in designing, commissioning, deploying, troubleshooting, and improving specialized nuclear tooling used for inspection, maintenance, and refurbishment. That means the lessons you learn on site don't get lost, they directly shape the next generation of tools and processes.

This is a team for people who enjoy hands on technical challenges, thrive in dynamic environments, and want to see the tangible impact of their work. Our work is highly collaborative. Nuclear Services acts as the bridge between engineering, operations, and our nuclear customers, providing trusted expertise when it matters most. Because nuclear projects are often outage based and time critical, our team plays a key role in ensuring tooling is reliable, well maintained, and ready to perform when the window is tight.

As a Nuclear Services Project Manager you own the full lifecycle of nuclear service projects, combining proposals engineering with end‑to‑end project management. In this role, you are responsible for winning, planning, and delivering complex nuclear solutions, ensuring technical excellence, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and high customer satisfaction.

Specific Responsibilities
  • End‑to‑End Project Ownership:

Provide full lifecycle leadership for nuclear service projects, from proposal development through contract award, execution, delivery, and project closeout.

  • Proposal Engineering & Solution Development:

Lead the development of technically sound, compliant, and commercially competitive nuclear service solutions, including concept development, risk assessment, cost estimation, scheduling, and proposal presentation to customers.

  • Customer & Commercial Leadership:

Serve as the senior technical and project liaison for customers during pre‑order and execution phases, partnering closely with Sales to support account strategy, win work, manage expectations, and ensure long‑term customer satisfaction.

  • Project Management & Execution Excellence:

Lead multi‑disciplinary teams to deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with contractual requirements, nuclear quality standards, and regulatory codes.

  • Financial & Risk Management:

Maintain accountability for project financial performance, including forecasting, cost control, milestone billing, cash flow, change management, and risk mitigation. Escalate issues proactively and implement corrective actions.

  • Leadership & Team Development:

Provide strong people leadership by mentoring project teams, fostering accountability, driving engagement, and ensuring alignment with ATS procedures, values, and performance expectations.

  • Governance, Compliance & Safety Leadership:

Ensure all projects meet the highest standards of ethics, safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, including adherence to CSA, NQA, and HSE requirements. Actively model and reinforce a strong safety culture.

  • Change & Stakeholder Management:

Lead contract change management, ensuring scope changes are formally approved, accurately costed, and executed in alignment with customer agreements and internal governance processes.

  • Continuous Improvement & Business Impact:

Contribute to process improvement initiatives, lessons learned, and best‑practice sharing to strengthen Nuclear Services project delivery, operational efficiency, and customer outcomes.
