About the Role:
The Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, employee expense claims, and payments. This role supports day-to-day accounts payable (AP) operations, ensures compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls, and serves as a primary point of contact for vendor and employee inquiries.
As the Newest Member of our Team, You'll:
Ensure the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, employee expense claims, and payments, in line with accounting standards, policies, and internal controls.
Partner closely with procurement, vendors, and internal teams to resolve invoice discrepancies and two‑way/three‑way matching exceptions.
Execute weekly payment runs (cheque, EFT, and wire) and maintain accurate vendor and employee master data, including banking and tax information.
Be a trusted point of contact for vendor and employee inquiries, managing the AP inbox and resolving issues with professionalism and care.
Support month‑end close activities, including accruals and account reconciliations, contributing to accurate financial reporting.
Complete new vendor onboarding, including independent callback verification, ensuring strong governance and risk controls.
To Succeed, You Bring:
1-2 years of hands-on accounts payable experience.
College diploma or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable best practices.
Proficiency in MS Office tools, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe, and SharePoint.
Experience with ERP and AP systems such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, and SAP Concur is preferred.
The target hiring salary for this position is $61, $72, Placement within our salary range will be based on factors such as internal equity, market conditions, and the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
