This role will establish and scale Amico's Internal Academy for Talent — including the Future Leaders Passport Program, Co-Op & Early Talent Pipeline, and a comprehensive Capability & Knowledge (KI) Development Framework — to systematically develop critical skills, strengthen leadership depth, and significantly reducing long-term reliance on external hiring.
Partnering closely with the Executive Team, Business Leaders, and Talent function, this leader will embed learning into the operating model of the business, driving performance, succession readiness, internal mobility, and organizational resilience.
ResponsibilitiesEnterprise Learning & Capability Strategy
- Define and execute Amico's long-term learning, leadership, and workforce capability strategy aligned to business growth, project complexity, and succession needs
- Build enterprise-wide capability frameworks, role-based development pathways, and multi-year talent roadmaps
- Establish governance, funding models, and metrics for learning investments
Internal Academy & Talent Pipelines
- Design, launch, and scale the Internal Academy for Talent as Amico's primary engine for leadership, technical, and future skills development
- Lead the Future Leaders Passport Program to accelerate high-potential talent into critical leadership and project roles
- Design and implement Amico's learning strategy, capability frameworks, and development roadmaps.
- Partner with the Talent team to identify internal opportunities, support succession planning, and enable internal mobility.
- Develop a KI Development Framework to build critical skills and future-ready capabilities internally.
- Conduct SWOT and PESTLE analyses of high- and low-performing talent and design targeted development and improvement programs.
- Create a KI Development Framework to systematically grow technical expertise, project leadership, safety excellence, and digital capability internally
- Embed continuous learning into daily operations and project delivery
- Partner with Talent and Executive Leadership to drive enterprise succession planning and leadership readiness
- Identify high-potential and at-risk talent segments using data-driven insights (SWOT, PESTLE, performance analytics)
- Design targeted development and performance acceleration programs
- Enable internal mobility pathways across functions, projects, and leadership levels
- Lead the rollout of Train-the-Trainer, mentoring, and coaching initiatives to enhance leadership capability, build internal talent pipelines, and partner with Amico leadership to identify and develop future high performers.
- Oversee development of orientation, leadership, technical, safety, and project excellence programs
- Blend in-person learning, digital platforms, coaching, and experiential development models
- Personally facilitate executive-level programs and high-impact leadership interventions
- Define enterprise learning KPIs tied to performance, retention, productivity, and project outcomes
- Continuously evaluate ROI of development initiatives and evolve strategy accordingly
- Champion a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and performance excellence
- Act as a trusted advisor to executives on organizational capability, leadership effectiveness, and workforce readiness

Qualifications- 10 years of progressive leadership experience in Learning & Development, Organizational Development, or Talent Strategy
- Demonstrated success building enterprise academies, leadership pipelines, and workforce capability frameworks
- Experience in construction, infrastructure, engineering, or project-based environments strongly preferred
- Proven executive stakeholder partnership and enterprise change leadership
- Deep expertise in blended learning ecosystems, LMS platforms, and modern talent development practices
- Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution ability
