Description

This Compliance Manager role sits within the Energy sector and is based in Leeds. The role involves:

  • Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Manage a team of three risk & compliance professionals
  • Lead on Ofgem compliance
  • Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and assess compliance risks and recommend appropriate actions to mitigate them.
  • Provide guidance and training to internal teams on compliance-related matters.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and legislative changes in Energy & Natural Resources.
  • Collaborate with legal and operational teams to address compliance issues effectively.
  • Prepare and deliver compliance reports to senior management and regulatory bodies as required.
  • Act as the key point of contact for regulatory bodies and external auditors.

Profile

A successful Compliance Manager in Energy should have:

  • A strong educational background in law, business, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in compliance within the Energy & Natural Resources industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of regulatory frameworks and industry standards.
  • Exceptional organisational and analytical skills to manage compliance processes effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
