We are looking for a skilled Fullstack Engineer with over 8 years of experience to become a vital part of our technology team in New Jersey. As a Lead Engineer, you will play a key role within our Scrum team, collaborating closely with the Squad Lead, Scrum Master, Developers, Quality Assurance, and Architects. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, testing, and delivering features that improve our digital platforms. Rate: $58 - $63 / hr. W2 Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with both engineers and non-technical staff to analyze and contribute to projects in an agile/Scrum setting, enhancing backlog management, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Ensure comprehensive use case coverage through testing, refine problem-solving skills, learn new technologies, and build relationships with business partners to deliver exceptional products that meet business needs.
Design, develop, and scale large applications using SOA/REST architectures with Java and NodeJS, focusing on middleware components supporting new development, improvements, maintenance, and support.
Support cloud components (S3, IAM, Lambda) and manage data navigation across databases using SQL commands, working with data APIs to enhance development processes.
Define documentation and maintain enterprise-level technologies while developing Java services (web services/API).
Troubleshoot production and non-production issues as needed, focusing on both frontend (Angular/TypeScript) and backend (SpringBoot, Java, REST API, AWS) components.
Experience Requirements: Exceptional communication skills, capable of gathering feedback, incorporating it, and supporting others throughout the design and development process to improve solutions.
8+ years of progressive experience in senior or lead roles; we need someone who can hit the ground running.
Proven track record of delivering functional software on time within a Docker/container environment in AWS ecosystems, demonstrating high accountability and ownership.
Experience with AWS technologies (such as ECS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Kubernetes/Containers) is essential; AWS certifications are a plus.
Minimum 3 years of recent experience with modern Angular (TypeScript, supporting Angular15+).
Education Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, STEM, or a related Engineering field is required.
