GoHighLevel (GHL) & Automation Expert – API Integrations, Webhooks & AI Assistants (Africa/South America)
We are looking for an experienced GoHighLevel and automation specialist to architect, build, and maintain advanced workflows that connect GHL with external CRMs and AI assistants. The ideal candidate is very comfortable with APIs, webhooks, and AI tools, and can translate business requirements into reliable, scalable automations.
We prefer applicants based in Africa or South America who can work with overlapping North American time zones.
Responsibilities:
Design and build advanced automations inside GoHighLevel (workflows, pipelines, triggers, tags, custom fields).
Integrate GHL with external CRMs (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, custom CRMs) via API and/or webhook.
Connect AI assistants (chatbots, voice bots, SMS/email AI, OpenAI-style tools) to GHL and/or external CRMs for:
Lead intake and qualification
Follow-up sequences
Appointment booking and reminders
Build and maintain data flows between systems (GHL AI tools client CRM), including:
Mapping fields and statuses
Handling retries, errors, and edge cases
Ensuring data is clean, consistent, and deduplicated
Document workflows clearly (Loom videos, diagrams, or written SOPs) so non-technical team members can understand and manage them.
Collaborate via Slack/Zoom and give proactive suggestions to improve our funnels and automations.
Required Experience & Skills
Strong, hands-on experience with GoHighLevel (sub-accounts, workflows, triggers, pipelines, calendars, forms, funnels, SMS/email).
Proven track record building automations that use:
APIs and webhooks
JSON payloads and custom fields
Third-party automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Make, n8n, Pabbly, etc.)
Experience integrating AI tools with CRMs (e.g., AI lead qualification, AI follow-ups, AI call/SMS/chat bots).
Solid understanding of CRM data structures (contacts, deals/pipelines, activities, tags, custom objects).
Ability to read API docs and troubleshoot integrations end-to-end (auth, rate limits, error responses).
Good written and spoken English; able to communicate clearly and ask smart questions.
Reliable availability in Africa or South America time zones with some overlap to PST/EST.
Nice to Have
Experience with Twilio or other telephony providers.
Experience with OpenAI/LLM APIs, voice AI (e.g., ElevenLabs-style tools), or similar.
Background in lead generation, agency workflows, or appointment-setting funnels.
Basic coding experience , Python, or similar) for custom integration logic.
Engagement Details
Type: Part-time to start (project-based), with the potential to scale to ongoing/long-term work.
Compensation: Hourly or fixed per project; please include your typical hourly rate and preferred structure.
Start date: ASAP.
Contract duration of more than 6 months. with 30 hours per week.
