This is a permanent FTE 1.0 position scheduled to starting April 1, 2026 or sooner. This is a Monday to Friday daytime schedule.

THE POSITION
The EMS Supply Operations Technician supports the day-to-day purchasing, inventory control, and ambulance readiness needs of Associated Ambulance. Reporting to the Manager, Operations & Business Support, you will be responsible for ensuring supplies are ordered, tracked, and distributed accurately while helping prepare vehicles and equipment for service. This role requires accountability, sound judgment, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Execute purchasing and receiving activities in accordance with company policy
- Prepare and manage purchase orders
- Maintain accurate inventory records and adjust reorder levels based on system recommendations
- Monitor usage, variances, and replenishment requirements
- Pick, pack, and fulfill internal supply orders
- Complete deliveries to ambulance stations using company vehicles
- Perform deep cleaning, restocking, and readiness preparation of ambulances
- Support commissioning of new vehicles and equipment
- Process and help resolve equipment-related service tickets
- Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high accuracy and reliability
Working Conditions
- Warehouse and fleet-based environment
- Physical activity including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, standing, and repetitive motion
- Exposure to cleaning agents and disinfectants
- Periods of working alone
- Regular weekday schedule (Monday–Friday, days)
- Position may transition in the future to a 4-on / 4-off day schedule
REQUIRED SKILLS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class 5 Non-GDL driver's license
- Comfortable operating company fleet vehicles and ambulances
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, web-based systems)
Assets (Nice to Have)
- EMR, PCP, or other EMS experience
- Background in supply chain, warehouse, or inventory management
- Experience using inventory management software
- Familiarity with medical supplies or healthcare environments
