Must haves:

Responsibilities:
- Support physician engagement activities by gathering, documenting, and analyzing clinician and partner input related to Pb4P initiatives.
- Assist with partner identification, mapping, and impact assessments to inform engagement and adoption strategies.
- Develop and maintain business analysis artefacts (e.g., engagement summaries, requirements, workflow impacts, issue logs, decision trackers) to support Pb4P initiatives.
- Support the translation of clinical and business needs into documented requirements aligned with product and implementation planning.
- Contribute to briefing materials, decks, and reports for working groups and governance tables.
- Support integrated implementation planning by aligning physician engagement inputs with product, change management, communications, and deployment activities.
- Track engagement‑related activities, dependencies, and risks, escalating issues as needed through established Pb4P governance structures.
- Assist with monitoring engagement milestones and deliverables within the Pb4P integrated plan.
- Work closely with project managers, clinical leads, and engagement teams to ensure consistent and coordinated engagement across Pb4P initiatives.
- Support preparation for meetings with physicians, advisory tables, and working groups, including agendas, materials, and follow‑up documentation.
- Interacts with the business stakeholders and subject matter experts in order to understand their requirements through gathering, documenting, and analyzing business needs and requirements.
- Prepares and advises on business analysis policies, processes, best practices and standards to promote a comprehensive and consistent business analysis practice within the organization.
- Connect with multiple partners internal and external to the organization to develop a clinical engagement strategy for adoption and implementation of digital products
Desired Skills:
- Ability to translate business and data requirements into specifications sufficient for designing appropriate technology solutions
- Experience with a wide range of methods, tools and techniques for business analysis such as: business functional modelling, business event modelling, business process mapping
- Experience in structured, object oriented and agile methodologies for user requirements
- Experience developing performance measures for business analysis evaluation and subsequent follow-up
- Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of primary care in Ontario
- Knowledge of the digital health space in Ontario
- Knowledge of population health and health equity principles
- An understanding of Ontario's health care system
- Ability to manage key stakeholders requirements
- Demonstrated ability to successfully execute on multiple large-scale, complex, high-risk projects, ideally within a cross-functional structure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate opportunities for innovation with internal and external partners
- Proven ability to solve problems by providing thorough and practical solutions to a wide range of complex problems and approaching challenges proactively using strong critical thinking and negotiating skills
- Excellent writing skills including the ability to prepare briefing notes, reports, and business presentations
- Excellent oral skills including ability to create and deliver effective presentations and answer questions
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Work independently in a highly organized and self-directed manner with minimal supervision
- Prioritize and effectively anticipate and respond to risks and issues as they arise
- Analyze and define problems, evaluate alternatives, find solutions, and make decisions
- Work well under pressure and use good judgment in assessing difficult situations

Evaluation Criteria:
- Strong experience handling large, complex projects.: 40 points
- Strong understanding of Ontario's healthcare system, particularly referral process.: 30 points
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders, clinical champions and peers.: 15 points
- Experience with managing relationships with multiple partners in both internal and external organizations: 15 points

The Business Analyst (Intermediate) will ensure the following objectives are achieved:
- Develop a robust stakeholder map and engagement strategy
- Work with internal and external partners to ensure the clinical perspective is embedded into the use and function of digital assets and services.
- The Agency teams, regional staff, and other Agency partners feel well equipped, informed, and supported to drive initiative-related planning and implementation activities to deliver high-quality, accessible clinical care enabled by digital and virtual tools.
- Synthesize qualitative and quantitative feedback from physicians, advisory groups, and partners into clear themes, risks, and recommendations.
