About the Role
As a Total Wealth Planning Associate, you will play a key role in supporting Scotia Wealth Management Advisors across Canada. You will prepare comprehensive holistic financial plans, 
provide expert guidance on planning software, and contribute to the development of best-in-class financial planning practices.

Key Accountabilities
1. Advisor and Planning Support
• Respond to advisor inquiries related to financial planning concepts and the Conquest planning software.
• Review, refine and co‑build financial plans created by advisors to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in planning software and modeling techniques.
2. Total Wealth Plan Development
• Build or update comprehensive Total Wealth Plans submitted to the Central Planning Group.
• Input and validate client data from supporting documents.
• Model scenarios and recommend strategies that help clients meet their financial goals.
• Identify referral opportunities to Wealth Partners (Team of Specialists) to deepen client relationships.
• Deliver plans within established service-level timelines.
3. Contribute to Professional Practice 
• Stay current on legislation, planning trends, and industry changes.
• Develop and refine planning software modelling strategies to incorporate new rules, methodologies, or planning considerations. Share best practices with the Team.
4. Contribute to the Effective Functioning of the Client Solutions Team
• Build strong working relationships across the team and with various business lines and corporate partners.
• Promote a culture of open, transparent, and collaborative communication.
• Participate actively in team meetings, knowledge-sharing, and problem-solving discussions.
• Contribute ideas that support innovation and continuous improvement.
• Commit to a personal development plan that supports your career growth.
Job Requirements
Skills, Experience and Competencies:
• Knowledge of financial planning concepts: investments, tax, retirement, estate planning, risk management. 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Experience with financial planning software (Conquest experience is an asset). 
• A collaborative mindset and commitment to outstanding service.
Education and Qualification:
• College or university degree.
• Pursuing QAFP or CFP designation or equivalent financial planning credentials
