Technical Sales Representative – Low Pressure
Key accountabilities/activities
As a Technical Sales Representative specializing in low pressure blowers, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business growth across various industrial applications. We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient engineer with a background in sales. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and providing technical expertise to support our products and services.
This position reports to the Business Line Manager – Air and Gas Applications (AGA) Division.
This position is based in Quebec and the work schedule is 35 hours per week.
Main responsibilities include:
- Maximizing the sales of all available low-pressure products to our current and new industrial customers through consistent sale prospecting activities in your assigned market
- Ensuring that related sales targets are met in terms of unit sales and revenue generation while giving due attention to highest price realization
- Maximizing your presence by cold calling potential new customers and scheduling customer visits to conduct lunch and learns and provide value-based presentations of your product portfolio
- Ensuring proper & professional follow-up of customers and prospects with phone and e-mail and coordinating with Atlas Copco distributors operating within your assigned territory
- In collaboration with the Business Development Specialist – Low Pressure, gather and analyze information about the market potential, competitor's activities, new applications to use to your advance and reporting any findings to the Business Line Manager
- Ensuring your knowledge of products remains up to date by attending product trainings or using the internal Learning Database
- Ensuring all calls, visits, quotes and other required prospecting details are recorded in internal CRM platform on a frequent basis
- Comply with the organization's environmental, health & safety, recycling, sustainability efforts and quality assurance policies and standards.
- All other related tasks and projects
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is preferred (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical), or equivalent technical experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an external technical sales role
- Proven motivation and drive to achieve and surpass sales targets
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in French. English would be considered a strong asset
- Excellent computer skills, specifically using Microsoft Office Suite and previous experience using a CRM system
- Base salary and commission structure

This role requires onsite presence at our customer facilities in the region of Quebec for sales meetings, presentations and lunch and learns. All other business related tasks can be completed from home.
