Über

  • Designing, developing, testing, implementing, maintaining and enhancing system architectures (technical, data, application) for both TRAC and developed application solutions on Microsoft Dynamics Platform. This includes identifying specific requirements for specific complex and technical environments. 
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure product backlog prioritization and business analysis materials (e.g., agile user stories/requirements, specifications, etc.) have appropriate detail to achieve project objectives.
  • Design high quality and well-documented code according to accepted standards based on user requirements. 
  • Interact with key business & technology stakeholders to define, analyze, and deliver requirements that reflect the needs of both the business and end-customers.
  • Perform system integration from a technical perspective, including creating new interfaces; identifying bottlenecks and recommending specific areas for improvement; recommending ways of maximizing or enhancing efficiency.
  • Coordinate the development of business systems/applications including assisting team members through the systems development life cycle. Develop implementation activities, including establishing testing processes to effectively measure achievement of objectives; coordinate testing and implementation with client's and users.
  • Supports the resolution of production issues and problems. Makes recommendations to improve internal application processes & systems.
  • Participate in Agile-Scrum practices such as daily stand-ups, refinement, planning, and sprint retrospectives.
  • Involved in all phases of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) from analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance with timely delivery against aggressive deadlines.
  • Participate in Agile delivery for enhancements.
  • Recommends or automates approaches to streamline and integrates technological processes and/or systems to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support teams with Accessibility standards remediates for the I&IT solution.
  • Collaborate with Cyber Security and OPS Information Technology Partners to remediate application safeguards such as Threat Risk Assessment and Penetration testing recommendations.
  • Coordinate the development of business systems/applications including assisting team members through the systems development life cycle.

  • Knowledge Transfer Plan
    Require consultants to develop and maintain a formal Knowledge Transfer (KT) Plan
  • Mandatory Documentation Deliverables especially on 
  • Configuration guides and operational playbooks 
  • Troubleshooting and support guides
  • Embedded Collaboration and Shadowing
  • Require consultants to work alongside internal team members to:
  • Enable hands on learning through pairing or shadowing
  • Gradually transition ownership of work to internal staff
  • Involve internal resources in key decision making activities
  • Training and Enablement Sessions

    Mandate knowledge sharing sessions, such as:

  • Formal training workshops (recorded where possible)
  • Walkthroughs of systems, tools, and processes
  • Q&A and mentorship sessions to reinforce understanding
  • Progressive Transition of Responsibilities

  • A phased handover approach, clear criteria for when responsibilities shift from consultants to staff 

  • Requirements Public Sector Experience
  • 10+ years of experience working in the healthcare industry, specifically in maintaining and supporting systems such as Long-Term Care, Electronic Medical Records (EMRs), Hospital Information Systems (HISs), Clinical Assessment tools, and Ontario Healthcare Reporting Standards (OHRS) compliant and Ministry for Seniors and Accessibility (MSAA)
  • Knowledge of personal health information protection legislative requirements and how they apply to developing and maintaining healthcare systems containing personal health information, preferred
  • Technical Expertise and Guidance 
  • 10+ years' experience with Solutions development.
  • Good hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics and power platform. Experience working with; Microsoft 356, MS Dynamics, Azure, HL7, SOAP and REST API, web-integration.
  • Hands on experience with full life cycle API management processes, using IBM's API connect.
  • Strong Understanding of Microservices Architecture (microservice design and implementation)
  • Hands on experience in administering, configuring, and designing IBM middleware tools such as MQ/Message Broker
  • Strong knowledge of web services (WSDL Soap, Restful and programing languages)
  • Experience with relational and hierarchical database technologies.
  • Experience with one or more communications protocols.
  • Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server, and Internet Information Services (IIS) Server.
  • Working knowledge in Azure development, Azure web application, App services, Azure storage, Azure SQL Database, Virtual machines, Fabric controller, Azure AD, Azure search, and notification hub.
  • Development & Application Support Skills
  • Proficiency in Power Apps, and other relevant Microsoft Technologies.
  • Hands on experience in programming concepts and tools such as WSDL, SOAP UI, Swagger, Eclipse, Message Archive Utility, POSTMAN, XML, XSLT & JSON, CSS
  • Experience with HTML, ASP.NET, C# and Java Script.
  • In depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, including the on-premises version and the cloud-based version. Familiarity with the modules, entities, and customizations is essential.
  • Experience with HTML, ASP.NET, C# and Java Script.
  • Experience with Azure cloud services and Azure integration tools.
  • Well versed with complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) which includes Design, Development, Documentation, Testing, Maintenance, and Support using Agile, Scrum, XP, and Waterfall.
  • Experience in developing enterprise integration solutions using IBM integration tools like WebSphere Message Broker and IBM DataPower appliances.
  • Experience with developing REST API in Java Spring Boot Experience with API Gateways
  • Able to Investigate and analyze complex technical issues and problems. Able to Oversee ongoing production support and Coordination.
  • Experience with making Application accessibility compliant (AODA)
  • Experience with Agile delivery, Jira or Azure DevOps tools
