*Position Overview*
We are seeking an experienced *Mainframe Technical Project Manager* to lead enterprise IT programs within a banking environment. This role is responsible for managing complex, multi-stakeholder technology initiatives including system migrations, regulatory implementations, and operational transformation projects.
The ideal candidate combines strong delivery discipline, technical awareness of mainframe environments, and proven stakeholder management experience across business and technology teams.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise IT programs
* Manage project lifecycle including requirements, design, testing, deployment, and stabilization
* Track budgets, timelines, and deliverables using project management tools
* Coordinate cross-functional teams across technology, operations, and compliance
* Maintain RAID logs, dashboards, and executive reporting
* Drive process improvements and operating model optimization
* Coordinate UAT and production readiness activities
* Ensure projects meet risk, compliance, and audit standards
* Manage stakeholder communication including senior leadership and external clients
*Required Qualifications*
* *10+ years IT Project Management experience*
* Minimum *5 years in banking or financial services*
* Experience delivering complex multi-stakeholder programs such as:
* System migrations
* Regulatory implementations
* Client transitions
* Experience managing IT budgets and time tracking (Clarity preferred)
* Experience with SDLC methodologies:
* Agile
* Hybrid
* Waterfall
* Proficiency with Jira and Confluence
* Strong governance and stakeholder management experience
* Ability to work onsite in North Quincy, MA
*Preferred Qualifications*
* Knowledge of custody operations or asset servicing
* Familiarity with:
* Corporate actions
* Settlements (DTC, Euroclear, Clearstream)
* Reconciliation processes
* Experience with SWIFT messaging standards (MT/MX/ISO20022)
* Familiarity with cash management or EOD processes
* Experience with mainframe technologies (IBM System Z, COBOL)
* PMP or Agile certifications
