CAMH-UHN Partnership
The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) and the University Health Network (UHN) have established a world-first partnership with a shared vision to integrate physical and mental health and advance brain health science. This collaboration unites Canada's leading mental health research hospital with Canada's leading academic health sciences centre to deliver comprehensive, coordinated care and drive world-class research and education on the connection between brain and body health. Through shared priorities in care, research and education, the partnership will develop integrated models of treatment, conduct joint research to accelerate scientific discovery, and embed mental health expertise across physical health settings. By strengthening coordination across the mental health system, the partnership aims to transform how whole-person health is delivered and improve access and outcomes.

Position Summary
Working under the joint direction of the Senior Manager, Performance Improvement and Excellence, UHN, as well as Director Data & Reporting, CAMH, the Analytics Lead, CAMH-UHN Partnership plays a critical role in advancing a culture of data-informed decision making that involves interprofessional stakeholders, across a complex, multi-site, multi-organizational partnership. The role will be responsible for supporting priorities in alignment with the CAMH-UHN Partnership and Ontario Health directions. In particular, the role will be responsible for supporting Ontario Health's Substance Use Disorder Integrated Care Pathway (SUD ICP) initiative, with the goal of establishing integrated care pathways for patients presenting to hospital emergency departments at high risk of alcohol and/or opioid-related morbidity and mortality to connect people to care that addresses their needs, both in hospitals and communities.
Key Responsibilities
Data storytelling and performance insights; translating complex analytics into clear narratives, surfacing opportunities for improvement and enabling leaders to make evidence-based decisions.
Stakeholder engagement and relationship management; partnering with clinical programs and leadership to understand needs, align analytics to strategic goals, and build trust in data.
Strategic analytics and improvement enablement; designing and delivering analytic solutions (dashboards, reports, models) that drive transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Partner with clinical programs, corporate teams, and leadership to interpret performance data, identify key trends, and generate actionable insights that inform strategic and operational decision-making.
Develop and deliver compelling data products (dashboards, scorecards, reports) that enable transparency, understanding, and accountability across the organization.
Build positive, trust-based relationships with stakeholders, supporting them in defining data needs, interpreting insights, and embedding analytics into daily workflows.
Lead or contribute to analytic initiatives that align with CAMH-UHN Partnership and Ontario Health provincial priorities, ensuring timely delivery, risk management, and effective stakeholder engagement.
Prepare and deliver materials (presentations, data briefs, visualizations) tailored to diverse audiences, from frontline staff to executive leadership.
Surface opportunities for improvement by connecting data to process and performance challenges, and collaborate with teams to design solutions.
Promote a culture of continuous learning by advancing data literacy, coaching teams in interpreting analytics, and modeling best practices in data use.
Qualifications
Undergraduate Degree in Health Science, Health Informatics, Health Administration, Business, or Industrial/Process Engineering, or related field (master's degree strongly preferred).
Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare analytics, performance management, or related roles.
Strong data literacy, with the ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate complex information to non-technical audiences.
Experience developing dashboards and reports (e.g., Power BI, Excel, SQL, or comparable tools).
Proven ability to translate data into stories and insights that inform decision-making and inspire action.
Skilled at stakeholder engagement and relationship management across organizational levels.
Experience supporting strategic or large-scale initiatives; strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated experience preparing reports and presenting to leadership audiences.
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other performance improvement methodologies considered an asset.
Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to evolving priorities and manage ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
Thrives in a complex environment, moves fluidly between technical analysis and strategic conversations
Strong skills in data storytelling, relationship management, and performance improvement.
