- Lead complex, sensitive and high-risk ER cases, ensuring fair, compliant and commercially aligned outcomes.
- Provide immediate uplift in ER capability and operational quality.
- Co-lead restructures, TUPE processes and wider transformation programmes with the Head of HR.
- Partner with service line leaders to forecast and plan medium- to long-term resource needs.
- Strengthen management capability through training, one-to-one coaching and practical guidance.
- Review, update and embed HR policies to ensure legal compliance and firmwide consistency.
- Drive enhancements to the HiBob HRIS, ensuring improved adoption and effective process design.
- Lead wellbeing, engagement, inclusion and culture initiatives.
- Support HR systems optimisation and process improvement projects.
- Line manage and mentor the HR Advisor and HR Apprentice.
- Build team capability through structured coaching, performance oversight and development planning.
- Ensure smooth delivery of onboarding, lifecycle processes, compliance checks and reporting.
- Strengthen operational controls and reduce error rates across the HR function.
- CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent experience).
- Strong HR generalist background with proven success managing complex ER cases.
- Experience delivering HR projects, ideally including HRIS implementations or enhancements (HiBob preferred).
- Confident coach and mentor able to uplift junior team member capability.
- Strong operational discipline with the ability to influence, prioritise and multitask within a fast-paced environment.
- 5+ years' HR experience with at least 3+ years working with HRIS systems.
- Technical Expertise: Clear uplift in ER handling, policy knowledge and operational standards.
- Resilience & Quality: Reduced errors and consistently improved service levels.
- Strategic Enablement: Increased capacity for the Head of HR to focus on transformation initiatives.
- Team Growth: Junior team members demonstrating greater independence and capability.
- Project Delivery: HiBob and wider HR projects resulting in tangible process and service improvements.
- Business Alignment: HR viewed as a proactive, commercially minded and responsive partner.
- £45,000-£55,000 salary
- 6-month fixed-term contract
