Get to Know Your Team:

  • Lovelace Women’s Hospital is a 53-bed advanced neonatal intensive care unit, family care unit, an award-winning breast care center, and the first robotic surgery program in the state recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine diagnostic imaging procedures in support of the assigned area and as requested by a licensed medical provider.
  • Responsible for adhering to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety.
  • May provide clerical support for the assigned department to include, but not limited to, filing, maintaining records, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and entering data into computer
Qualifications:

Job Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Sciences or a Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Program.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

  • ARRT or registry eligible; Radiologic Technologist Certificate issued by the State of NM.
  • *Employees employed in or prior to 1972 and licensed by the State of NM are considered grandfathered and exempt from ARRT requirements*
  • Candidates with a temporary license must obtain a permanent license within one year of hire.

Preferred Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree.
  • One (1) year of related experience in a hospital setting.
