Job Summary: We seek a Data Scientist with an entrepreneurial mindset to support a dynamic and growing data science team involved in crucial projects for National Security. Responsibilities Include: Develop statistical and machine learning models, perform natural language processing (NLP), and create automated solutions for intricate business problems. Construct and execute complex database queries across multiple databases utilizing SQL and API interfaces. Engage in web scraping and employ various techniques to process unstructured data. Utilize automation and machine learning to manage data, forecast scenarios, and provide data-driven insights. Learn and utilize technologies such as AWS and Git. Basic Qualifications: Must hold TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. Bachelor’s degree with 8-12 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree with 6-10 years of experience. A Doctorate in a technical domain is also acceptable. Proficiency in Python is required. Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases and APIs for data extraction are essential. Experience with supervised and unsupervised learning and natural language processing (NLP) is mandatory, including familiarity with NLP libraries and tools (e.g., spaCy, Hugging Face, NLTK, or TensorFlow). Knowledge of frequentist statistics, probability, predictive modeling, and concepts of computer science, data architecture, and statistical methods is required. Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Plotly, Seaborn, Matplotlib) is necessary. At

Pay Range $107,900.00 - $195,050.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation. Additional factors will be considered when extending an offer, including responsibilities of the job, education, experience, skills, and internal equity.
