Border Security Specialist

The U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) offers a unique opportunity for individuals to work with an elite team of highly trained professionals who are dedicated to protecting America's borders and enforcing immigration laws.

• Detecting and Questioning Individuals : Detect and question people suspected of violating immigration laws, inspect documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.


• Preventing Smuggling**: Prevent undocumented noncitizens from entering the country by maintaining surveillance at or near the borders using infrared scopes during night operations.


• Interpreting Tracks**: Interpret physical evidence such as tracks, marks, or other signs of illegal entry into the country.
