Border Security Specialist

This position offers a career ladder progression with advancement opportunities through grade levels GL-5/7/GL-9/GS-11/GS-12.

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration and customs laws by inspecting documents and possessions to verify citizenship or identify violations
• Maintaining surveillance from covert positions, including the use of infrared scopes during nighttime operations, to prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at or near the borders
