• Preventing the smuggling of people and contraband by maintaining surveillance from covert positions


• Interpreting tracks, marks, and other physical evidence to identify illegal entry points

• Prior law enforcement or military experience with specialized skills such as firearms training, investigative techniques, and report writing


• The ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations while maintaining sound judgment
