A Border Patrol Agent is a vital part of our workforce, responsible for safeguarding the American people by preventing and deterring illicit activity.

• Detects and questions individuals suspected of violating immigration laws to prevent further illegal activities.
• Prevents and apprehends undocumented noncitizens at or near the border through vigilant monitoring and swift action.

1. Solid understanding of U.S. immigration laws, policies, and procedures.
2. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining strong communication skills.
3. Possesses physical stamina to work in demanding environments with varying weather conditions.
