The Senior Systems Administrator provides critical cloud and infrastructure support to ensure the stable, secure, and reliable operation of enterprise computer systems, software platforms, and network connectivity in support of DoD mission requirements. This role is responsible for planning, engineering, installing, configuring, operating, maintaining, and optimizing system software, cloud services, and communication links. The position ensures high availability, performance, and continuity of operations across on-premises and cloud environments in accordance with applicable DoD policies, security requirements, and contractual obligations./ppKey responsibilities include:/pulliOrganize and direct the configuration, operation, and maintenance of information management systems./liliAnalyze and resolve end-user software, application, and connectivity issues./liliConduct capacity and performance analysis and recommend system configuration changes and upgrades./liliImprove system administrator efficiency and accuracy using automated tools and scripts./liliDevelop system administration procedures and deliver system administrator training and skills assessments./liliProvide end-user training and technical guidance./liliRecommend technology directions and solutions to align IT capabilities with business objectives and vision./liliDelivers local and remote maintenance support for operational systems across multiple locations, including system maintenance, upgrades, and new server and application installations./liliLead and direct the work of system administrators, ensuring effective day-to-day system administration, resource optimization, and user support./liliApply advanced technical expertise in application networking, including load balancing and fault-tolerant architectures./liliPerform vulnerability management to identify, assess, and mitigate security risks./li/ulpKnowledge, skills, and certification requirements:/pulliThree (3) years hands-on experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) IT hosting solutions./liliTen (10) years of specialized experience. (Specialized experience is defined as progressive experience in the field of Information Processing, where the majority are specialized in numerous specialized Information Processing disciplines involving a range of hardware/software solutions, at least four (4) years of which are concentrated, hand-on experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving issues with various software)/liliExtensive experience with commercial cloud hosting platforms, including Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and associated industry technologies./liliBachelors degree in a technical discipline (or equivalent experience, if permitted by contract)./liliIA Level: DoD 8140/8570-compliant IAT Level II certification, including one or more of the following: CCNA Security, CySA +, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, or GCIH./liliCloud Certification - GCP: Google Associate Cloud Engineer or Google Professional Cloud Architect./liliCloud/Platform Certification - AWS, Azure, OCI, or Red Hat: One or more of the following:/liulliAWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional), or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator/liliMicrosoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Azure Security Engineer Associate/liliOracle Cloud Infrastructure Cloud Operations/liliRed Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)/li/ul/ulpSecurity Clearance Requirements:/pulliSecret ** Must have ACTIVE Top Secret Security Clearance to be considered for this role**/li/ulpSalary: $110,000 - $120,000 + Benefits/ppEqual Employment Opportunity CompTech is committed to building a diverse and inclusive environment in which we recognize and value each others differences as well as fostering a culture that promotes its core values: Commitment, Innovation, and Customer Satisfaction.
