In this role, you will be responsible for the professional editing of analytical products that support essential U.S. national security and foreign policy objectives regarding Counterterrorism (CT) issues. You will work collaboratively in a team environment. The Intelligence Content Editor will be required to perform the following responsibilities: Review and edit products to ensure they comply with customer style guide standards. This includes reviewing and editing graphics, assisting in the creation of visual aids, and ensuring proper formatting. Verify the proper sourcing of products and graphics. Finalize publications and provide archiving support. Track edited work products and ensure their workflow through the production process. Coordinate with all involved parties while adhering to production schedules. Produce, deliver, and archive completed intelligence publications. This position requires the ability to support a non-traditional schedule: Monday - Thursday from 12:00pm to 10:00pm. Additional hours may be required. A 15% shift differential may be applicable during certain hours. Basic Qualifications: Must have a TS/SCI with Polygraph. Strong editorial experience. Bachelor's degree in English, Linguistics, or a related field with 8+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience. Experience editing Finished Intelligence Products or Intelligence Assessments (typically 1-5 pages) intended for the broader Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense (DoD). A proven track record collaborating with analysts and managers while editing and sourcing Finished Intelligence products for IC customers. Relevant exposure to U.S. foreign policy, national security CT objectives, and the interagency coordination process. Knowledge of national security classification procedures is required. Experience adhering to a publication style guide. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, short turnaround environment as needed. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, specifically using Track Changes. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Adobe InDesign is a plus. At Leidos, we offer limitless opportunities. The Leidos pay range for this position is $92,300.00 - $166,850.00. Factors for compensation include responsibilities, education, experience, and internal equity.
