Position Purpose
The Commercial Management Manager provides project-level leadership on commercial matters across major infrastructure projects. The role leads commercial activities including risk allocation, transaction structuring, project financing, delivery model selection, commercial evaluations, and project closing. It contributes to strengthening commercial consistency, best practices, and high-quality execution across the program, while supporting senior team members on broader program-wide initiatives.
What You Will Do
Lead commercial activities on assigned projects, including analysis of commercial and financial submissions and project closing.
Refine and evolve delivery models using lessons learned, market feedback, and innovative concepts.
Support program-level initiatives such as market engagement, bonding and security reviews, insurance program improvements, and other commercial frameworks.
Maintain team operational tools including databases, checklists, and planning files.
Prepare financial models, business case reviews, value-for-money analyses, and price validation assessments.
Engage with internal stakeholders, senior leadership, government partners, and private-sector proponents on commercial issues.
What We Are Looking For
Experience leading commercial components of major capital or infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of infrastructure delivery models, commercial structuring, contract requirements, and project financing.
Ability to assess complex commercial issues and develop balanced recommendations.
Strong communication skills and comfort engaging with government officials, executives, and private-sector proponents.
Experience with financial modeling and reviewing commercial documentation.
Ability to manage detailed project-level tasks while contributing to broader program commercial practices.
Education in finance, economics, business, or related field; CFA, MBA, CMA, or similar designations considered assets.

We offer a competitive hiring range of $106,000 to $140,000 (P5 level), pay will align with skills, knowledge and experience of the candidate.
