Position Summary:
The Client Care Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the client care team, ensuring optimal staffing utilization, supporting client onboarding and growth targets, maintaining quality standards, and serving as the primary escalation point for client and employee concerns. This role plays a critical part in ensuring exceptional service delivery, regulatory compliance, and continuous performance improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the Client Care Team, providing guidance, training, mentorship, and ongoing support.
Foster a culture of accountability, high performance, and professional development.
Conduct regular performance reviews and identify development opportunities.
Oversee staffing resource allocation to meet client needs efficiently.
Assist with scheduling as required to maintain service continuity.
Collaborate with management to optimize workforce planning strategies.
Oversee and support onboarding of new clients to ensure seamless service initiation.
Oversee accurate and timely completion of client records, including: flowsheets, time approvals, and service provider plans
Foster strong relationships with clients, families, healthcare providers, and community resources to support comprehensive care.
Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure Provincial Homecare remains at the forefront of client care.
Qualifications:
5 years experience working in the Health Care sector
Strong knowledge of home care regulations and quality standards.
Experience in team leadership, workforce planning, and KPI management.
Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and compliance.
Proficiency in scheduling systems and electronic health records.
Post-secondary education is considered an asset.
Work Location: In person at our office on 388 Kenmount Road, St. John's
