Title: Manager, Strategic Policy (Internal Only)
Salary: $99,899 - $117,528 - $135,158 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours (core hours Mon-Fri 9am-3pm)
Location: Metro Vancouver – on the ancestral Coast Salish Territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations – Hybrid (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA's flex work policy). Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway in Spring 2027.
About The Role
As the Manager, Strategic Policy you will provide leadership, advice, guidance and implementation support to strategic policy initiatives and portfolios. You will provide direct support to senior management and oversees staff, project teams, and budgets. As well as you will initiate, maintain, and develop strong and effective working relationships with stakeholders. Additionally, you will research and prepare briefing notes, reports, publications, strategies. In addition to you will identify and monitor issues, analyze developments, and research international, federal, provincial and First Nations policies and processes.
About You
Education
University Degree in a related field such as Public Health, Political or Social Science, Health or Public Administration or Management
Experience
8 years of recent, related experience, including a previous leadership role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Significant, recent and relevant experience in a senior policy, strategist, or management position
Significant policy and strategy development and analysis experience

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.
The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
