As Sr. Manager, Strategic Planning, you will partner closely with leaders across ADP Canada to define, communicate, and execute our business strategy. From collaborating with business partners, developing the annual strategic plan, developing the annual sales strategy, handling multiple ad-hoc projects, to conducting competitive and customer research, you will provide the consultation and expertise necessary to drive our success. This is a high visibility role requiring a significant responsibility to influence and shape various elements of ADP Canada's enterprise strategy and execution.
No two days are alike in this role. To thrive in this role, you need expertise in research, problem-solving, and business partnering and must be highly skilled in crafting presentations that communicate compelling stories.

Here's what you can expect on a typical day:
Be the trusted strategy advisor for business segments at ADP Canada
Run assigned initiatives or projects, including breaking down problems, building a business plan (as needed with financial modeling assistance), stakeholder conversations, and problem-solving on the levers in the financial model
Manage strategy processes, including program managing standard strategy cycle events, e.g., annual strategy planning cycle, board meeting, etc.
Partner with peers in matrixed teams, including strategy and business teams in other locations outside Canada, to develop strategies for Canadian business units
Partner with the business unit leader on additional projects, including preparation for partner meetings, executive presentations, etc.
Develop a point of view on key strategy topics, emerging trends and focus areas through internal and external research as an input into ongoing business decisions
Explore new business opportunities, and incubate new ideas across all business areas based on alignment with business strategies
Develop compelling PowerPoint presentations that articulate strategic options and support executive decision-making
To Succeed In This Role
10+ years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar strategy role
5+ years of strategy experience in management consulting or on an in-house strategy team, preferably at a top-tier consulting firm or technology company
MBA or master's degree
Proven experience in building business case and financial modeling
Excellent communication skills. Experience presenting to senior leaders
Strong content creation and business storytelling/presentation skills using PowerPoint
Successful experience communicating with stakeholders at all levels, including C-Suite
Expertise in conducting competitive and customer research, including conducting stakeholder interviews & secondary research
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time
Strong experience collaborating with multiple functions/organizations
For Additional Comfort In The Role
Prior experience working with sales strategy, business development and/or knowledge of SaaS or go-to-market strategies
Experience with data visualization (e.g. BI and Tableau) and ability to translate data into business-relevant actionable insights.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. We offer the following benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Matched Retirement Savings, Wellness Program, Short-and Long-Term Disability, Charitable Contribution Match, Holidays, Personal Days & Vacation, Paid Volunteer Time Off, and more. The compensation for this role is CAD $128, CAD $178,900.00 / Year*
Actual compensation will not be less than the applicable minimum wage or minimum exempt salary requirement under federal, state and local laws.
In Ontario and/or British Columbia (where applicable), the range shown represents the expected total compensation, including vacation pay and bonus at target. Although bonus has been calculated as part of the expected annual compensation for this role, bonus pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to business performance, individual annual performance, and company guidelines.
