This role is hybrid and requires you to be at a Client office at a minimum 2 day per week - subject to change at any time.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Salesforce Platform Management
Configure, customize, and maintain the Salesforce platform, including workflows, flows, validation rules, process automation, page layouts, roles, profiles, and permission sets.
Manage data quality and integrity, including deduplication, data imports, data cleansing, and ongoing governance.
Design, build, and optimize automation solutions (Flow Builder, Process Builder, triggers integrations where needed).
Troubleshoot system issues, provide root‑cause analysis, and support continuous improvement of Salesforce solutions.
Collaborate with technical teams to integrate Salesforce with banking systems, third‑party applications, and compliance platforms.
User Support & Stakeholder Collaboration
Serve as the primary Salesforce resource for business stakeholders, including product owners, operations teams, compliance, and frontline banking teams.
Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and compliant Salesforce solutions aligned with banking workflows.
Provide user support through training, documentation, knowledge‑sharing, and best‑practice guidance.
Conduct impact assessments for system changes and ensure business alignment before deployment.
Salesforce Governance & Compliance
Ensure Salesforce configurations and processes follow industry best practices, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
Maintain security and access controls aligned to banking risk standards, KYC/AML requirements, and data privacy policies.
Conduct periodic system audits, monitor user activity, and enforce data governance standards.
Support compliance teams through enhancements to KYC, AML, onboarding workflows, and other regulatory requirements.
Banking Domain Responsibilities
Work closely with banking operations to support client onboarding, KYC/AML procedures, regulatory reporting, and customer lifecycle management.
Analyze banking processes and recommend improvements leveraging Salesforce capabilities.
Assist in mapping processes for loan applications, credit workflows, deposits, treasury, commercial banking, or retail banking, depending on business needs.
Ensure Salesforce solutions support evolving regulations, operational controls, and audit requirements in the financial sector.
Project & Delivery Responsibilities
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contribute to sprint planning, and deliver user stories on time.
Prepare detailed documentation for functional designs, process flows, system configurations, and release notes.
Support UAT cycles, regression testing, and change management activities.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (IT, compliance, operations, data teams) to drive seamless end‑to‑end delivery.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
Salesforce Technical Expertise
Hands on experience with Salesforce configuration and customization
Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, workflows, flows, validation rules, and automation tools
Ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance Salesforce solutions
Salesforce Certification
Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201) is mandatory
Additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform App Builder, Advanced Admin) considered an asset
Banking Domain Knowledge
Experience working within banking or financial services
Understanding of client onboarding, KYC/AML processes, regulatory compliance, and banking workflows
Ability to translate banking business requirements into Salesforce solutions
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000–$130,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
