We will provide the raw footage and content direction — your role will be to transform it into polished, high-performing Reels that align with current trends and platform best practices.
This has the potential to become an ongoing role, with consistent work paid per video.
Responsibilities:
Edit raw footage into engaging Instagram Reels
Add captions, text overlays, transitions, and effects
Incorporate trending audio and formats where relevant
Create strong hooks within the first few seconds
Deliver videos optimised for Instagram (correct sizing, formatting, etc.)
Requirements:
Proven experience editing Instagram Reels (please provide examples)
Strong understanding of social media trends and viral-style editing
Fast turnaround times
High attention to detail
Ability to take direction while also bringing creative input
Bonus if you:
Have experience editing for personal brands/ influencers
Understand conversion-focused content
Can suggest trending ideas or improvements
Contract duration of less than 1 month. with 30 hours per week.
