UX Designer Needed for SaaS Dashboard Activation Improvements

The core system is already fully functional. The main challenge is that many new users complete onboarding but do not take the next step inside the dashboard. We want to improve the first-time experience after onboarding so it clearly guides users, reduces confusion, and helps them quickly understand how to start using the product.
This is not a full redesign or branding project. The focus is on targeted UX improvements related to activation, clarity, and user behavior. If you see opportunities to improve the design or user flow beyond the initial scope, you are free to suggest and apply them. We value proactive designers who can think along and contribute ideas.
We are looking for someone with strong experience in SaaS dashboard design who understands user psychology and practical UX improvements. Work will be done in Figma.
When applying, please share examples of SaaS dashboards or onboarding flows you have designed and briefly explain how you approach improving user activation.
We are ideally looking for a long-term collaboration if the first project goes well. The scope is moderate and the timeline is flexible, ideally completed within 1 week.
Contract duration of less than 1 month.
