We're looking for a dependable, energetic team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys staying active. You communicate well, keep the sales floor clean and organized, and deliver friendly, helpful customer service. If you bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the willingness to jump in wherever needed, you'll be a great fit at Talize.

Availability Requirements

This role requires open availability, including weekends, holidays, and closing shifts.

Pay Rate

$17.85/hr 

What You'll Be Doing - Every Day is Game Day

Departmental Duties

  • Merchandise Processing:
    • Inspect, sort, tag, grade, and price incoming merchandise following company standards.
    • Hang and organize items by category, size, and colour on rolling racks.
    • Support donation flow, floor changes, stock replenishment, and sale day prep.
  • Stock Flow and Efficiency:
    • Complete daily routines such as sorting, tagging, and rack organization to maintain steady merchandise flow.
    • Label bins accurately and follow colour-tag rotation to keep inventory fresh.
    • Maintain processing speed while upholding quality control.
  • Safety, Cleanliness, & Compliance:
    • Keep the processing area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
    • Follow PPE, lifting, and safety protocols always.
    • Report hazards or incidents and ensure safe access throughout work areas.
  • Team Support & Collaboration:
    • Join daily huddles, communicate with peers and leaders, and support team goals.
    • Assist with general housekeeping and help maintain an efficient, respectful work environment.
What You Bring - Skills That Turn Heads
Must-Haves:
  • A sharp eye for detail and consistency — you notice what others miss.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
  • A positive, team-focused attitude with clear, respectful communication.

Additional Strengths That Make You Stand Out

  • Experience in warehouse, inventory processing, or back-of-house retail work.
  • Familiarity with thrift or second-hand merchandise and basic condition grading.
  • Comfort using PPE and understanding of basic health & safety routines.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, twisting, and moving throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull rolling containers up to 500 lbs.
  • Exposure to dust, dirt, insects, garbage, and occasional rodents.
  • Noisy environment with varying temperatures.
  • Availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Regular interaction with customers and the public.
