Manulife's Individual Insurance team currently has an opportunity for a New Business Coordinator. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide proactive support to corporate account offices, national accounts, independent advisors, and clients, as well as collaborating with internal departments to ensure insurance applications are processed efficiently and within established timelines.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Build strong, personalized relationships and provide exceptional support as the main point of contact throughout the new business process, up until the issuance of the insurance coverage. - Proactively follow up on all pending cases to meet service standards.

  • Anticipate client needs and make outbound calls, send emails, or issue new business notifications to keep them informed of important updates.

  • Take full ownership of assigned cases, understand their urgency level, and help resolve obstacles that may delay processing.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (French & English) is required - The successful candidate will be required to communicate in English and French in order to support clients from various jurisdictions outside of Quebec.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated customer service experience with the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally at all management levels.

  • Ability to adapt to different learning styles.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft tools (including AI tools).

  • Demonstrated customer service experience with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally at all levels of management. - Strong team spirit and excellent interpersonal skills. - High adaptability and comfort in a constantly evolving environment.

  • Ability to influence, persuade, and guide others effectively.

  • Ability to recognize situations requiring exceptions and escalate them appropriately to ensure superior service. - Strong research abilities, problem identification skills, and contribution to solutions. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of individual life insurance terminology and products (an asset).

Salary range is expected to be between

$45,900.00 CAD - $76,500.00 CAD
