Power or HVAC Technician 3

We're looking for a Technician 3 - Power or HVAC in Fort McMurray, AB a role that will help us to power progress for our customers.

What you'll do:

• You'll be based out of our Fort McMurray, AB Service Center and can expect to work in the shop and field with local travel daily in your company vehicle

• You will act as the go to technician for the Service Center. Willing to train and mentor other technicians at the location and keep striving to improve your knowledge to support our customers.

• You'll have an opportunity to work overtime and weekends.

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or oil free air compressors

• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations, and handle the repairs

• You will either be out on your own or teamed up with other technician(s) to set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites

You'll have the following skills and experience:

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent work experience

• 6-9 years of experience working on power generators and/or industrial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs

• Journeyman HET, Electrician or Industrial HVAC highly desired

• 6-9 years of experience working on Cummins, Volvo, or Jenbacher diesel or natural gas-powered generators and compressors, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs highly desired

• Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics

• You'll be required to maintain site access requirements for our local customers in the Wood Buffalo area

• Valid driver's license

• Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 50 lbs.
