Job Description: Under the direction of the head of Medical Genetics and the manager of Ambulatory Services, the Genetics Counsellor participates in the coordination of a genetics program involving screening and accepting patient referrals, preparation and follow-up of families for genetic assessment, assisting in genetic counselling in all genetics clinics; counselling, teaching and liaison with other related fields and professionals, as members of the genetics team. The individual participates in formulation and implementation of policies and procedures of the division. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"
